Anything can be used as tool when playing with doh; from the tools that come with Play-Doh upon purchase, to legit clay sculpting tools, to kitchen gadgets (think rolling pins, spoons, knives, etc), to cake decorating pieces, or to your own hands!
Always clean your tools if there is any residual doh left on them. The doh will harden if left out (tools not placed in air-tight containers) and can be very hard to remove.
