Play-Doh done seriously.

A Mother + Daughter Doh Duo

It all started with my four-year-old’s obsession with watching YouTube “crafty” videos, anything to do with colors really. And we came across Play-Doh tutorials and thought… I can do that! So, we bought some Play-Doh the next day and the rest is history.

Hey there, my name is Jenne B. Webster and I’m the artist/founder behind Serious-Doh. Inspired by my daughter and creative partner, Story Sue Webster.

By day, I’m a professional creative; working on high-profile projects with international brands. And have been for the past 10+ years. From art directing global photoshoots to designing entire integrated advertising campaigns. And absolutely love it.

By night, I’m an inspired artist who gets to play. Mix and make my own colors. Build and tear-apart (which happens, a lot) doh. And most importantly, spend quality time with my daughter. And encourage her own creativity and problem-solving.

My husband says Serious-Doh is my perfect mash-up: Photography, Toys, and Food :)

She’s my muse. My inspiration. My creative spark.
She is my Story.

This four-year-old girl knows all her colors and their unique builds (what colors make them up). Before starting with Play-Doh, back in 2017, the only color she liked was pink and purple. Period. End of story. But now she loves every single color in the rainbow. All neutrals and grey scales. Being a professional creative myself (trained in graphic design, art direction & photography) I couldn’t be prouder of who she is becoming. How she is seeing and discovering the world around her through her growing senses.

We now have a Creation Station in our house dedicated strictly for creating and using our imagination.
